Telos Systems is pleased to announce the appointment of
Marc Johnson to the newly-created position of Eastern Region
Applications Engineer. Telos has experienced dramatic growth both
domestically and internationally; Johnson’s new position is part of an
extensive corporate expansion/re-structuring designed to help keep pace
with this growth.
Earlier this year, Johnson became Application Engineer
for Axia Audio, the networked-audio division of Telos Systems. His new
position makes him part of the sales support process for Telos and Omnia
as well, with direct involvement in product demonstrations, training,
and trade show events. He will also provide product support services
throughout the eastern US.
“I love being part of the Telos family,” says Johnson.
“Since my first experience in 2004 with Axia’s Ethernet-based IP-Audio
network technology, I’ve been impressed with the system’s ease of
operation and robust character — and that’s precisely why I installed it
at WEGL, and why I jumped at the chance to be part of the Axia team.
Working with Telos and Omnia clients as well will be an excellent
opportunity for personal growth.”
Marc began his broadcasting career in 1996 at Athens
Broadcasting’s WZYP-FM, and has been Chief Engineer of WEGL since 2002.
He is President of Premier Solution, a VoIP and network design company
based in Auburn, Alabama. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in
Computer Engineering from Auburn University, and will receive MBA and
B.S.E.E. degrees from Auburn in 2007. Johnson joined Axia in April of
2006.
“Marc’s technical background makes him a natural for this
position, and clients love him!” says Telos Systems’ Managing Director
Denny Sanders. “He’s proven to be an essential resource in helping
clients determine what best suits their needs. We’re glad to have him
taking on this expanded role.”
Marc is based in Auburn, Alabama, and can be reached at
216-241-7225, or via email at mjohnson@AxiaAudio.com .
