Axia clients in Italy seeking systems integration services now have a
new choice: LLR Projects
(www.llr-projects.com),
the Rome-based technical consulting and design firm headed by Luca La
Rosa.
“When I saw the first demonstration of Livewire in 2004, I knew
immediately that it was a brilliant idea,” says La Rosa. “Axia IP-Audio
networking makes my customers happy because they can customize their own
systems, without being manufacturer-dependant. As an integrator, Axia
makes my life easier because configuration is easy and remote support is
comprehensive. And my wiring team is happy too because they only need a
crimping tool!”
Axia IP-Audio equipment allows broadcasters to build audio networks
of any size using standard Ethernet to connect a few rooms, or an entire
facility. Axia networks have a total system capacity of more than 10,000
audio streams, and can carry hundreds of digital stereo (or nearly a
hundred surround) channels over a single CAT-6 cable, eliminating much
of the cost normally associated with wiring labor and infrastructure.
Axia products include the iQ and Element 2.0 broadcast consoles, the
IP-Intercom system, a family of “audio nodes” that allow easy mixing and
matching of digital, analog and microphone audio, and a comprehensive
suite of network administration and routing control software.
Axia IP-Audio networks are now on-the-air in more than 1,500 studios
worldwide. For a complete listing of Axia partners, visit
