Stations with Axia PowerStation integrated console engine can
download newly-released v1.1.2k software, free of charge, from Axia
Audio.
PowerStation, for use with the popular Axia Element 2.0 on-air
console, is the first IP console system that includes a
broadcast-quality network switch with Gigabit. A “single-box” solution,
the 3RU PowerStation also contains audio I/O, machine logic, hardened
console power supply and a DSP-based mixing engine, making it ideal for
fast, no-hassle installation in standalone studios or multi-studio
facilities.
PowerStation v1.1.2k software may be downloaded, free of charge, from
the Axia website at
AxiaAudio.com/downloads/.
Axia IP-Audio allows broadcasters to quickly and easily build audio
networks using switched Ethernet to connect a few rooms, or an entire
facility. Axia networks have a total system capacity of more than 10,000
audio streams, and can carry hundreds of digital stereo channels over a
single CAT-6 cable, eliminating much of the cost normally associated
with wiring labor and infrastructure. Axia radio consoles are installed
in over 2,000 studios worldwide.
