Axia Audio wants to let clients know about a new version of iProbe,
the software suite that lets radio pros remotely manage, update, and
maintain their Axia IP-Audio networks.
Along with an updated, intuitive user interface, newly-released
iProbe Version 1.1.4 adds support for PCs running 64-bit versions of
Windows 7 and Windows Vista to existing 32-bit capabilities. iProbe
v1.1.4 also includes streamlined configuration backup routines that make
it easier than ever to manage any Axia IP-Audio network. Registered
iProbe users can download v1.1.4 at no cost by visiting
AxiaAudio.com/downloads/
.
iProbe software gives Axia administrators complete information about
and control over their IP-Audio network. Running from a PC connected to
the Axia network, iProbe lets admins manage and maintain large groups of
audio devices from a single control panel. Upon installation, iProbe
queries every audio device on the network, compiling information about
IP addresses, software versions and more.
iProbe features include an Auto-Documentation feature that records
configuration settings for every networked Axia device, an a firmware
manager that automatically acquires and uploads new device software, a
backup utility that archives device configurations, and a powerful
control panel that puts individual device configuration pages one mouse
click away.
Axia allows broadcasters to quickly and easily build audio networks
using switched Ethernet to connect a few rooms, or an entire facility.
Axia networks have a total system capacity of more than 10,000 audio
streams, and can carry hundreds of digital stereo channels (plus machine
logic and PAD) over a single CAT-6 cable, eliminating much of the cost
normally associated with wiring labor and infrastructure. More than
2,000 Axia studios are now on the air around the world.
