Axia Audio, the new subsidiary of Telos Systems specializing in networked studio audio, announces a partnership with Radio Systems (www.radiosystems.com), maker of the popular StudioHub+ prewired cabling solution for broadcast audio components.
As part of the collaboration, Radio Systems will provide systems integration services for Axia clients in need of end-to-end installed solutions. Also, Axia will become a reseller for StudioHub+ components, giving clients direct access to a wide range of time-and-money-saving installation accessories.
“Radio Systems is committed to the ‘pre-wired studios’ approach,” says Dan Braverman, President of Radio Systems. “I’ve been fascinated watching the development of Livewire, and I’m excited by the new opportunities that our companies’ bond will undoubtedly produce.”
"We use Ethernet to connect everything on the digital network. However, we still need to connect to some traditional analog and digital devices,” says Axia President Michael Dosch. “We were so impressed with the StudioHub+ concept that we designed all of our line-level analog and AES/EBU digital audio adapter nodes using the StudioHub+ wiring format. No adapters needed. StudioHub+ plugs right into these devices and further simplifies the installation and management of audio interconnections.”
“And for broadcasters who wish for us to provide turnkey studio systems,” continues Dosch, “our collaboration with Radio Systems and our other strategic partners allows us to bring the best companies together for the best possible solution. We are very pleased to be working with Radio Systems.”
Axia and Radio Systems will both be exhibiting at the 2004 NAB Convention in Las Vegas; visitors are invited to see both Axia and StudioHub+ in the Telos booth, N1416, and featured in the Radio Systems booth, N2416.
