A half-dozen more TV and radio broadcasters across the US have installed Nx6 multi-line talkshow systems from Telos.
New users include two Fox Television stations in Washington, D.C.: WTTG (Fox5) and WDCA (My20DC), as well as a third TV station in the nation’s capitol, Russia Today’s RT TV. Radio stations with new Nx6 systems include Clear Channel’s four-station cluster in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, the University of Florida’s WUFT-FM in Gainesville, Marconi Media’s KKCS-FM in Denver, and the University of Minnesota – Duluth’s KUMD-FM.
Nx6 is a six-line talkshow system with the latest Telos hybrid technology. It includes Digital Dynamic EQ and symmetrical wide-range AGC by Omnia to sweeten caller audio, adjustable caller override to finetune call ducking, and special echo cancellation for dealing with cell and VoIP callers. Nx6 and its big brother, the 12-line Nx12, support two-studio operation, and contain four advanced Telos hybrids for crystal-clear conferencing. Systems can be ordered for use with POTS or ISDN phone lines, and come with standard analog and Livewire™ IP-Audio I/O for fast connection to Axia networks (AES outputs are optionally available).
Telos Systems is the trusted world leader in broadcast telephony. Its Zephyr IP & ISDN codecs are the "gold standard" for broadcast-quality program transmission, and its telephone hybrids and multi-line Talkshow Systems are recognized technology leaders — making Telos truly "The Best Way to Hear From There."
Complete Telos Nx6 systems, which include Assistant Producer call screening software and Desktop Director phonesets, start as low as $4,295 (US MSRP). For more information, visit Telos-Systems.com or contact Clark Novak via email at cnovak@TelosAlliance.com, or by phone at +1-216-241-7225.
